Members and students of SKLEBA organized & participated 8th AOMSC conference
Asia-Oceania Mass Spectrometry Conference (AOMSC, 8th) was held from 2020.01.03 to 2020.01.07 at University of Macau with over 400 participants. As one of the organizing parties, SKLEBA fully supported the conference to a suceess. In total, members and students from SKLEBA contributed 12 invited / oral presentations and 5 poster presentations on the conference, 12 students participated in the conference as volunteer.
Director of SKLEBA, Prof. Zongwei Cai, awarded the "2019 RCM Beynon Prize" to Dr. Xinming Huo from Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School at the closing ceremony. The prize is awarded to annually to the arthor(s) of the best paper published in Rapid Communication in Mass Spectrometry (RCM) over the previous two calendar years. This is the first time that research group from China won the prize since it was established in 2004. Prof. Cai has served as editor of RCM since 2013.
Director of acdemic commitee of SKLEBA, Prof. Guibin Jiang, delivered an educational talk entitled "Environmetnal Chemistry" on the opening ceremony of the conference. Poster of Ph.D. student Peisi Xie won the Best Poster Award, the title of the poster was "prenatal exposure to ambient fine particulate matter induces dysregulations of lipid metabolism in adipose tissue in male offspring".
