Prof. Cai Zongwei awarded the certificate in the Award Presentation Ceremony of Higher Education Outstanding Scientific Research Output Awards (Science and Technology)
On June 19, the Award Presentation Ceremony - 2018 Ministry of Education (China) Higher Education Outstanding Scientific Research Output Awards (Science and Technology) was held in Tsang Chan Sik Yue Auditorium, Hong Kong Baptist University. Prof. Cai Zongwei, Director of State Key Laboratory of Environmental and Biological Analysis won second-class award in Natural Sciences of the 2018 Ministry of Education (China) Higher Education Outstanding Scientific Research Output Awards (Science and Technology) and awarded the certificate in the ceremony. Professor Cai’s award-winning project is “Pollution characteristics of complex environmental pollutants in typical regions” together with Professor Wong Ming-hung, senior advisor of State Key Laboratory of Environmental and Biological Analysis.
The University won four second-class awards, out of a total of 13 awards for Hong Kong universities.
As a representative of the awarded scholars, Prof. Cai delivered a speech in the ceremony to express his thanks to the organizers of the ceremony, the University and collaborators.
At the end of the ceremony, staff and students of State Key Laboratory of Environmental and Biological Analysis took a group photo together.
